As a veterinary assistant, my role is to provide compassionate nursing care and help maintain your pet’s comfort in their home environment. While I cannot diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, perform surgery, or recommend specific medical treatments, I can assist with administering medications or therapies that have already been prescribed by your veterinarian. All care must be authorized by and coordinated with a licensed veterinarian, and a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) must be established.
